    Along with covering the philosophical part of Ashtanga Yoga, you will also learn the primary series of Ashtanga Yoga Asana. Not only the asana practise, but one will also learn to instruct along with counts in Sanskrit and opening and closing mantras. Below is a brief weekly schedule

    As this is a holistic Yoga course, gaining knowledge of ancient yogic philosophy is of utmost importance. Here we introduce you to Patanjali Yog sutras, nadis, chakras, Hatha yog pradipika, eight limbs of ashtanga, trigunas, Pancha vayus, Pancha koshas, Vedas and inspiring stories of sages and saints.

    Along with performing asanas, pranayama and meditation, it is very important to have knowledge of its impact on our body and systems. Anatomy and physiology cover various systems like the respiratory, digestive system and anatomy of all joints linking them with asanas, bandhas and mudras

    This class will be focused on understanding the basic alignment of the body in asana and variations that can be incorporated for making the asana less or more intense to ensure that when you teach you can give set of instructions that suits all level of practitioners

    Breath is the vital force that keeps our body alive and energetic throughout the day. This course will cover all the pranayama (breathwork practice) as per Hatha Yog Pradipika which includes Yogic breathing, Nadi shodhan, Ujjayi, Bhastrika, Suryabhedi, Chandrabhedi, Bhramari, Sheetali and Sheetkari.

    Also, you will perform the internal cleansing practise which is also called shatkarmas include jalneti, kapalbhati, rubber neti, vaman and trataka

    Learn the importance of performing meditation on a daily basis. Learn the different techniques of guided meditation like Trataka, japa and ajapa meditation, Osho dynamic meditation, mantra chanting meditation, gratitude or forgiveness meditation etc.

    Along with all the above also experience some interesting activities with us like full moon meditation, silence day, kirtan nights, sound healing sessions, nature walk etc.
